NDRA Adds Power to the Beauty at London’s Classic Car Cruz-In
As the National Drag Racing Association gears up for their second season of amazing power and entertainment, they will be on hand at London, Ontario’s Classic Car Cruz-In on Sunday, May 5th to showcase their teams and cars.
They will be promoting their upcoming series opener at the RPM Magazine / Lucas Oil “Spring Blowout” at Grand Bend Motorplex on May 18 and 19.
Featured at the NDRA exhibit will be Dylan Hache with his 3000 hp 2002 Firebird Alcohol Funny Car and Dave Earhart with his supercharged 2002 Camaro Pro Doorslammer. These five and six second cars are among the finest and fastest drag racing cars in the sport. You don’t want to miss seeing them, up and close!
Joining the NDRA on the lot will be the one and only Chi-Town Hustler! Doug Cadman’s ’73 Dodge Charger, Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car is a legendary favourite for race fans, young and old. Make sure that you bring your camera!
To add a little modern street car power and luxury to the show, Doug Grosfield will park his supercharged 2012 Cadillac CTS-V with the NDRA gang. Already noted as one of last year’s fastest production cars at 556 hp with a capability to hit 0 – 60 in 3.9 seconds, Grosfield has pumped his Caddy up to 850 hp at the crank and 650 at the rear wheels! It’s shiny and goes like a bat out of hell.
The Classic Car Cruz-In has been around for over 20 years and features classic cars and customs from the London area and beyond. It runs every Sunday from May until September, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM at the Canadian Tire parking lot located at 1975 Dundas Street East in London, ON.

ABOUT THE NDRA – The National Drag Racing Association will present two racing classifications in 2013 with its Alcohol Funny Car Series entering its second season of competition, while the newly added Pro Doorslammer division will provide spectators with an enhanced dose of high-octane entertainment.
